Three pieces similar to these were donated to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) for their annual silent art auction fundraiser.  All three have bids on them.  Closing day is Sunday, December 13th.

Also known as leaves

the buildings shed their people into the streets.\

It was winter for the evening

and the hollow buildings went cold

but known as the new year, people slept,

each one in a different bedroom.

Also it is widely knwon that the days of the year congeal in the morning

and it is the sugar in the sap that makes the spring green.  So

the morning arose in emerald fans unfurrowing from train doors and the

tightly concealed compartments of automobiles.

The town people stop washing cars.
